To be knowledgeable, communicative, cooperative, and results-oriented, and to perform as the consummate real estate professional – worthy of the respect, trust, and confidence placed in me.
"I believe that one's personal and professional lives should parallel one another. To that end, and at all times, the highest level of integrity and ethics will be the standard by which my duties will be executed and my behavior conducted. Nothing can deter me from adhering to my core values and modeling them in both my personal and professional life. It's a commitment I take seriously."
Beyond typical and customary services, I bring a holistic approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting, drawing upon a long and multi-faceted career that allows me to analyze needs, educate clients, and execute solutions.
My reputation as a straight-shooter has served me well. I believe in accountability and responsibility, and am able to effectively communicate with all parties. When accepting a consulting engagement, my diligence is thorough and focused. I enjoy going above and beyond the typical transaction experience and always look for ways to "think outside the box." With most of my business repeat/referral based, I'm honored by this testimony to my service and knowledge. Clients tell me that I'm unlike other Realtors they've dealt with in the past and I take that as a high compliment!
Reputation is everything. I will honor the trust and confidence placed in me, and will not disappoint.
Bev Hobbs Shea is a dedicated and seasoned practitioner versed in sales, leasing, subdivision development, condominiums and town home projects, management and team development, and special projects suited specifically for client needs. Many real estate professionals claim to be consultants but lack the necessary experiences from which to draw and channel into solutions. Beverly considers herself to be a reliable resource and strong connector.
As a second generation real estate practitioner, Bev has the foundation and knowledge to navigate through the challenges of an ever-changing market; real estate as a whole has changed dramatically and the process has caused confusion, apprehension, and angst. Aware of this, Bev has leaned into these challenges and has morphed her practice more into a consultative one. Book an appointment and let her navigate the new course!
First licensed as a real estate professional in 1975, Bev obtained her broker’s license in 1978 and continued to earn multiple designations, certifications, and honors. She has managed and owned real estate brokerages and teams.
Bev consistently ranks among top producers in her Board and in her Parish (county). She has been a founding member of several real estate companies, has served as managing broker, has led teams, and is also a principal in several companies. In her own words:
My success is the product of perseverance, a lifelong love of learning, a commitment of hard work, and being the beneficiary of talented, sharing professionals who instilled in me a desire to go beyond the norm. The opportunities I was given have expanded my knowledge and invaluable experience. I frequently say that I am not a salesperson; rather, I am a business person who sells. Whether or not we believe this, it is true.
So how do we go about this? By striving for excellence - for reaching higher than mediocrity. The same formula applies to both work and life. My personal philosophy is that our personal and professional lives should parallel. For myself, the standard is the highest level of integrity and ethics possible, and that this commitment to excellence be exhibited in everything. If I can impart this and encourage others to seek outlets and opportunities by which they can also elevate expectations and then meet them, my skills will be well-invested. Whether you are a fellow business person or a future client, your project is specific to your needs; sometimes it just takes a fresh, neutral pair of eyes to obviate the overlooked.
Often the term “consultant” is employed in the world of business and can be misleading. License does not always equate to ability; however, ability, excellence, and success always come from experience. There is no substitute. Accept nothing less!
